Damo Drive provides AI-powered missed-call recovery to small businesses in Ireland. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to get in touch about your data. Plain English only — no boilerplate.
Who runs Damo Drive
Damo Drive is operated by Damola, based in Galway, Ireland. Contact: hello@damodrive.com.
What we do
When you sign up as a customer, your business phone number is forwarded to a virtual receptionist that answers calls you can't. The assistant captures the caller's name, number, and enquiry details, then sends you a clean lead summary. We act as a data processor on your behalf — you remain the data controller for your customer enquiries.
What we collect from end-callers
When someone rings your business and the assistant answers, we record the audio of the call, generate a transcript, and store the structured lead summary (caller name, phone number, location, enquiry details). The caller is told at the start of every call that they're speaking to a virtual receptionist and that the call is recorded — that disclosure happens before any personal information is captured.
What we collect from you, our customer
Business name, contact name, business email, business phone number, billing details, and the configuration details of your assistant (your business hours, services, service area, brand voice). We do not store payment card numbers — those are handled by our payment processor.
How long we keep it
Call recordings: 30 days, then automatically deleted. Transcripts and lead summaries: 12 months, or until you delete them. Customer account data: for the life of your account plus 7 years for accounting purposes after closure (Irish Revenue requirement). You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Where the data lives
Servers inside the EU. Voice processing uses Retell AI and ElevenLabs, both with EU-region processing available. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA without an equivalent safeguard.
